The details

How we count
Active employees in your people directory. Bots, Slack guests, deactivated and departed members are not counted.
Above 20
Nothing switches off. During the current free policy you are not billed and we will not chase you; once a new price list is published, the excess is billed at that price.
When the free period ends
There is no fixed end date. We announce it in the app and on this page, and the announcement itself ends the free policy — it does not depend on every admin reading it.
Signing up after it ends
Workspaces installed during the free policy, still active and at 20 or fewer keep the core modules free. Workspaces registered after the free period ends no longer qualify, even at 20 or fewer, and pay the pricing published at that time.
If it stays unpaid
After the new pricing takes effect we notify the workspace; if it is still unpaid after 30 days, the app is suspended manually. Features stop working, data is not deleted, and you can request an export at support@vktapp.com.
What counts as inactive
Six months with no member opening any module. One visit from anyone in the workspace counts as active.
Reinstalling
If the pricing policy has changed by the time you reinstall, the policy in force at that point applies; the original free status does not carry over.

Advanced modules

Additional capabilities beyond the core seven will be released separately, priced per workspace. The core modules and their export do not shrink because of it.

Questions

Is it really free for 20 people?

Yes, but only for workspaces installed during the free policy. During the current free period, workspaces with 20 or fewer employees pay nothing for the seven core modules, and no card is required.

Will we be suspended the moment we pass 20?

No. Nothing changes during the current free policy. Only after a new price list takes effect and remains unpaid do we notify, then suspend manually after 30 days.

If a small team signs up after the free period, is it still free?

No. Free status depends on installing during the free policy. Workspaces registered after it ends pay the pricing published at that time, even with 20 or fewer employees.

Do existing users pay when the policy changes?

Workspaces installed during the free policy, still active and at 20 or fewer, keep the core modules free. Above 20, the new policy applies.

Is the free version limited?

No. All seven core modules are complete, and data export is unrestricted.

How are advanced modules priced?

Separately, per workspace, published on this page when they ship. Not using them does not affect the core modules.
